Hope Crossing Neighborhood, OKC - On a crisp Saturday morning this fall, 40 sleepy-eyed Kimray employees gathered on the bare concrete slab of a new housing development. The foreman humorously barked instructions to the group—some awkwardly grasping hammers, as if for the first time. At the end of the day, they were pros. This group of volunteers framed an entire house by the end of the afternoon.
“You all did a great job!” writes Steve Musch, Volunteer Coordinator for Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity, “I know that Jennifer, the homeowner, would want to thank you as well. You have all given generously of your time and talents, and a part of you is invested in that house—which will become a home for a deserving family. Thank you, and than Kimray for volunteering with us last Saturday.”
