Frequently Asked Questions

How do I calibrate the sensor for my application?

Hold the HI-LEVEL button until the LEDs light up, then release. Submerge the displacer fully in fluid and press HI-LEVEL, then lower it dry (or into the lighter fluid, if interfacing) and press LO-LEVEL. Wait for both LEDs to flash five times then you're calibrated.

Just cycle the power, or press the button whose LED isn't flashing. Either one exits calibration mode without saving changes.

Yes. Enter calibration mode (hold HI-LEVEL until LEDs light up), then press and hold either button until both LEDs turn solid. That restores the original factory water calibration.

It ships factory calibrated for single-phase water applications, so it's ready to go out of the box for most standard setups. If you're doing liquid-liquid interface sensing or have a different specific gravity, you'll want to run a field calibration.

Yes, always orient the enclosure vertically with the conduit entry facing down, whether you're using NPT or flanged connections. This keeps moisture out and ensures proper sealing.
